Jonard® SST-716 Security Shield Tool for 7/16” F Connectors
This professional grade wrench saves your fingers when installing and removing 7/16" Hex shielded F connectors, and gives you better access and leverage in tight spots. It features an open shaft that provides quick cable access, and an extended shank that can be used with Jonard® 7/16" torque wrenches (sold separately). This tool is a must-have for cable installers!
Torque Optimization
The design of the SST-716 Security Shield Tool features an extended 7/16" shank for ease of use with Torque Wrenches in security shield applications. This makes it ideal for pairing with the Jonard® TWAF-71630 Torque Wrench for F Fittings (sold separately) to get the job done!
Portability
The small size allows you to take it anywhere you need – just slip it in your shirt pocket, or attach a carabiner or keychain to the loop attachment and clip it to your belt! This loop attachment also helps to provide increased leverage when turning.
Sturdy Construction
The SST-716 is constructed of machined and heat-treated steel for maximum durability, and has a black oxide finish. Additionally, the knurled handle ensures secure gripping.
How it Works
The adapter located at the bottom of the tool was designed especially for use with a 7/16” Torque Wrench (sold separately). Simply slide the security shield tool onto the shielded F Connector, and turn the torque wrench clockwise until you hear the audible click signifying a properly tightened connector. Be sure that you don’t over tighten the connector, as this will damage the connector.
