Vtg Hand tooled leather Container for Stiff Shirt Collars + Cuffs Take a look.

Description

Hello - here is a leather type material covered cylinder for storing
your stiff shirt collars and detachable cuffs. I got this at a recent auction and it was full of
stiff white shirt collars - maybe 13 - 14 of them. I have listed them
on Ebay in 1 listing.
But - this container is quite unique. I think that it was specifically for collars and cuffs.
There are 2 compartments - one is about 2.75 inches deep.
The deeper one is about 4.25 inches deep. There is no maker's mark or
brand name. I am thinking Italian in origin - but I sure could be incorrect on that.
Circa 1880 - 1910 date range (a guess).
